Adventuring Arizona: Spring Training, Driverless Cars, and the World Baseball Classic

Hey everyone! Trevor here from Clevor Adventures, and I’m excited to share our latest adventure with you. On the weekend of March 10th, my amazing girlfriend and I took a trip up to Arizona for a weekend full of baseball, hiking, and a bit of unexpected excitement.

I’m lucky to have a girlfriend who’s not only supportive but also eager to join me on a weekend packed with baseball. That’s why she’s the best! We kicked off our trip by catching a spring training game, soaking in the sunshine and the excitement of seeing the teams in action as they prepared for the season.

But our Arizona adventure didn’t stop there. We also went for a short hike, exploring the beautiful desert landscape that the state is known for. The scenery was breathtaking, and it was the perfect way to balance out the time we spent at the ballpark.

The real excitement came when we decided to try something new—taking a ride in a driverless Waymo car. What started as a fun novelty quickly turned into an adventure of its own. The car ended up malfunctioning, and we almost got lost! To make matters worse, the car’s system threatened to kick us out because I didn’t have my seatbelt on. It was a wild experience, to say the least, but it’s not an adventure if everything goes according to plan, right?

The trip was capped off with an incredible victory by Team USA at the World Baseball Classic, making the whole experience even more memorable. Between the baseball games, hiking, and the unexpected drama with the driverless car, it was a weekend we won’t soon forget.

Arizona offered us a mix of relaxation, excitement, and a few good stories to tell. I’m already looking forward to our next adventure together, wherever that might be.

Until next time, happy adventuring!

-Trevor
